Second Major Expansion as Public Affairs Firm Continues to Grow

WASHINGTON – To meet the needs of steady growth in the company’s strategic communications and public affairs client base, HDMK announces they have added former Fox News producer Christin Fernandez as senior associate. As a new member of the HDMK team, Fernandez will play a key role in serving the firm’s client base and further drive the company’s work in media relations and communications.

“Our business continues to grow and Christin’s skills are a perfect fit for HDMK’s continued expansion” said Chad Kolton, HDMK partner. “We are continuing to expand our capabilities, but also honing in on our specialties; Christin’s strong background in news editing and production will help us enhance our media relations capabilities for our current client base, and support our continued growth. We are pleased that Christin has joined our team.”

Fernandez comes to HDMK with experience in broadcast news planning and production. She worked with Fox News Channel's national, foreign and political breaking news desk, covering high profile stories such as the 2008 election cycle and the Democratic National Convention, as well as other national political elections. In addition to producing news, Fernandez has strategic communications experience in the promotion and media tours of high-profile news programs and on-air talent, such as Glenn Beck, Bill Hemmer and Bill O’Reilly. She also served as a news planning producer for WTTG Fox 5, here in Washington D.C.

Fernandez’s addition to HDMK comes on the heels of the firm’s recent addition of Democratic Leadership Aide Mike Hacker, as senior vice president.
